We are a family-owned and operated roofing company serving the greater Birmingham area.
Moody, AL → Morris, AL
2 yrs roofing • 3 yrs concrete
Specialty: Storm Damage & Retail
GAF-trained • DISCO Masterclass
Church of the Highlands
I'm Christopher Troy Wideman Jr. — born in Moody, Alabama and now living in Morris. Before roofing I spent three years on ready-mix concrete trucks at USA Ready Mix, where I learned what real construction work looks like: long days, exact numbers, and no room for guesswork. That foundation is what I now bring to every storm-damaged roof I climb.
I came to roofing because I wanted work where craftsmanship and accountability actually move the needle. My older sister runs her own concrete company; my family taught me that the way you carry yourself on a job site is the same way you build your name. Two years in at Reeder, I've worked storm files, retail builds, and the kind of supplement fights that earn an adjuster's respect.
Storm damage & retail roofing — wind, hail, and full-system replacements. I'm GAF-trained and a DISCO Masterclass graduate, working under Reeder Roofing — a GAF Certified Plus Contractor and one of the region's only A+ BBB-rated roofing firms. One of my proudest wins: an Ordinance & Law coverage push that closed a full-replacement supplement the homeowner had been told was off the table.
Show up on time. Tell you the truth. Document the roof the way HAAG and the IRC say it should be documented. I treat your house like it's my mom's house — that's the standard. If the carrier missed something, we'll fight it with construction facts and manufacturer specs, not opinions.
"The future belongs to the consistent — not to the talented, not to the lucky, but to the one who shows up even when it’s hard. Effort never betrays you."
Outside work I golf at Ross Bridge, box at the gym, and worship at Church of the Highlands. My role models are the people in my own family — especially my sister, who built her own company from the ground up. That's the bar I measure myself against every week.
Specialty: Insurance Claims
GAF-trained • MMA fighter
Dad of three
Born and raised in Ashville, Alabama, I now call Gadsden home. Before roofing, I sold cars — so I learned early how to help people, listen for what they actually need, and walk into a tough conversation without flinching. Now I put that same instinct to work for homeowners across north and central Alabama.
I came to roofing for the freedom — the kind of work where I can be present for my family and still earn a real living. One year in, I've already taken on some of the toughest supplement claims Reeder runs. That mix of grit and curiosity is what I bring to every roof I walk.
Insurance claims are my specialty — supplement-heavy storm files where the carrier missed line items, undermeasured slopes, or denied damage that clearly meets HAAG and IRC criteria. I'm GAF-trained and work under Reeder Roofing — a GAF Certified Plus Contractor and one of the region's only A+ BBB-rated roofing firms. I read every page of the carrier's estimate, every photo, and every page of the homeowner's policy.
Show up on time. Tell you the truth. Document everything. Stand in the gap between you and the carrier so you never have to argue technical roofing facts with an adjuster alone. If a claim is fair, we'll close it fast. If it's short, we'll fight it with construction facts, not opinions. My goal when you meet me: you should feel relaxed and comfortable.
"Your insurance adjuster works in the best interest of the insurance company. I work for the homeowner."
Home base is my wife Leihton and our three kids — Daxtyn (7), Brynlee (4), and our newborn Leihlani. When I'm not on a roof or sitting across from an adjuster, I'm with them. I also fight MMA — the cage taught me how to take a hit, stay calm under pressure, and never quit on a plan. Same discipline I bring to every claim. Favorite local hangs: Applebee's and Chili's.
Birmingham, AL → Fairfield, AL
5+ months in roofing
Specialty: Claims & Storm Damage
GAF Certified
Sales since age 13
I'm a Birmingham, Alabama native — born in Birmingham, raised and now living in Fairfield. I've loved being in sales since I was 13 years old. Before I came to Reeder I sold life and health insurance, so I already knew what it felt like to sit across a kitchen table and walk someone through coverage that could change their life. Roofing was the natural next chapter.
I joined Reeder because I wanted my sales career to mean something more concrete — literally, a roof over someone's family. Insurance taught me how to read a policy, ask the right questions, and explain technical details in plain English. Those are exactly the skills you want on your side of the table during a claim.
Claims and storm damage — the side of roofing where a homeowner most needs an advocate who actually knows the arena. I'm GAF Certified and work under Reeder Roofing — a GAF Certified Plus Contractor and one of the region's only A+ BBB-rated roofing firms. My biggest correction for homeowners: most people never actually read their own policy until they need it. I help you understand what to prepare for before the adjuster shows up.
I want you to feel trust and be at ease — like you're working with somebody who's fun to be around AND who has your back. I love helping in any way I can. One thing I tell every homeowner: cheap is not good, and good is not cheap. A roof installed right the first time saves you money the second time it storms.
"Nothing comes to a sleeper but a dream."
Home base is big — seven siblings and my partner who I've been with for three years. When I'm not on a roof or at a kitchen table I'm shooting pool, bowling, paintballing, or go-karting with friends. Sales is my passion, but this is how I unwind.
Vance, AL (Tuscaloosa Co.)
4 yrs Alabama Power lineman
Specialty: Storm Damage & Supplements
GAF • OSHA • CPR / First Aid
Evergreen Baptist Church
I grew up in the small town of Vance, Alabama in Tuscaloosa County, and I still live there today. Before I came to Reeder I spent four years as a lineman for Alabama Power. Lineman work taught me how to stay calm when conditions get rough, how to read a structure quickly, and how to do work the right way the first time — the same habits I bring to every roof I walk.
I came to roofing at the start of 2026 because I wanted to serve my community in a more direct way — to help homeowners actually solve a problem they often don't know how to navigate. After years of climbing poles in storm season, I already knew what real wind and hail damage looks like. Roofing was a natural next step.
Storm damage and supplements — the claims where the carrier missed line items or undermeasured the scope. I'm GAF Certified, OSHA Certified across multiple courses, and CPR / First Aid trained, working under Reeder Roofing — a GAF Certified Plus Contractor and one of the region's only A+ BBB-rated roofing firms. One of my proudest jobs: a 70-square, 8/12 pitch in Tuscaloosa. What stood out wasn't the size — it was the genuine happiness of the homeowners when it was done.
I want you to feel confident and relaxed the moment we shake hands. We are claims specialists and we're great at what we do. One misconception I correct all the time: an insurance carrier cannot legally raise your premium just because you filed a claim — the homeowner is protected by the Fair Claims Act. My promise is simple: we install the roof right the first time, and I keep you updated all along the way.
"GPNC — God’s Plan Never Changed. No matter what happens through your day, everything is going to be okay."
Home base is my younger sister and four spoiled-rotten dogs. A lot of the people in my life I've known since I was five years old — I count them as family too. Outside of work I love golf (even though I'm not good at it), anything with cars, and the gym. Favorite local hang: Ol' Colony Golf Club in Tuscaloosa.
Orlando, FL → Hoover, AL
10 yrs Real Estate
Reeder Roofing — GAF Certified Plus
Husband & dad of two
Outdoors: kayak / camp / hike
I grew up in Orlando, Florida, and I now call Hoover, Alabama home. Before I came to Reeder I spent ten years in real estate — a career that taught me how to look at a home the way an owner does, not just the way a seller does. When I walk a roof, I'm already thinking about the family that lives under it.
This is my first year in roofing. After a decade helping people buy and sell homes, I wanted to help them protect them. The roof is the biggest and most important system on a house — if it fails, everything underneath it is at risk. Making sure that all components are fully functional is what drew me to this business.
I work under Reeder Roofing — a GAF Certified Plus Contractor and one of the region's only A+ BBB-rated roofing firms. My job is to document every detail of the damage we find, cite the right manufacturer and IRC code references, and bring the full construction scope to the table. Homeowners often feel like they're alone in a claim — my role is to make sure they aren't, by being on-site for the inspection and putting the construction facts in writing.
I'm here to help you protect not only your investment but your family as well. My one piece of advice for every homeowner: make sure your roof is up to code and have someone qualified inspect it annually — small problems caught early stay small. And the way I carry myself on a job: I treat every home the way I would if I were going to stay there myself.
"Pay attention to the small details."
Home base is my wife and our two children, ages 15 and 8. When I'm not on a roof or at a kitchen table, you'll usually find me outdoors — kayaking, camping, hiking. When the kids pick, it's usually Dave & Buster's.
Vincent, AL
15 yrs construction (concrete + builds)
Class of 2024 — Valedictorian
GAF • OSHA • Forklift • CPR
Specialty: Storm Damage, Concrete, Install
I was born and raised in Vincent, Alabama, and I've been around construction my whole life. Fifteen years of it — concrete, ground-up residential homes, commercial ground-ups. Roofing wasn't a career change for me; it was a homecoming. When I was asked what drew me to this work, my answer was one word: Dad.
I graduated valedictorian of the Class of 2024 and stepped straight into the family business full-time. Growing up on a Reeder job site taught me the difference between a roof that looks finished and a roof that is finished. Today I bring that standard to every inspection — with the academic discipline and the 15-year tool-belt to back it up.
Storm damage, concrete, and roofing installation. I hold GAF Certified, OSHA Certified, Forklift Certified, and CPR Certified credentials, working under Reeder Roofing — a GAF Certified Plus Contractor and one of the region's only A+ BBB-rated roofing firms. The most challenging file I've worked on: a year-old claim a carrier had approved at $350.44. After a thorough construction-fact inspection and a documented full-scope supplement, that claim closed at over $100,000 — that's what proper documentation can unlock.
My goal when we shake hands: you should feel comfortable. I'll document the damage with the manufacturer specs and IRC code references that actually matter. If we find damage that's worth a claim, I'll tell you so — and I'll show you the evidence. If we don't, I'll tell you that too. One word I want every homeowner to remember about me: grit.
"If you have an idea that you think is genuinely good, don’t let some idiot talk you out of it." — Stan Lee
Home base is my better half of 8 years, four cats, one dog, and one cool older brother. Outside work I'm usually cooking (culinary is a real hobby for me), gaming, playing D&D, collecting comics, fishing, or gardening. I also give time to soup kitchens, cancer research, and the Kinesiology Science Research Association. Favorite local hangs: Trattoria ZoZo, Skates 280, and DeSoto Caverns.
